This is a 75 liter pack, meaning it was supposedly built to carry a lot of gear. However, while it has two aluminum stay bar on either side of the back panel, it has no back frame sheet. Meaning if you really load this pack up with gear its basically going to collapse under the load, its not beefy enough to handle the weight. Save your money.

The biggest selling point is the opening on the front. Makes packing much easier. Packed for a 7 day cruise. Walked all over Boston for 8 hours with no problem. Nice it includes a rain cover as many do not. Only down side is there’s no way to secure it. The zippers have cords instead of metal.

This is an excellent pack for the price.
It is on par in quality with more expensive packs. Plenty of space and pockets, sleeping bag slot, place to mount backpacking tent and etc.
The only complaint is I have a 32′ waist and I have to cinch the waist strap all the way…

Pros: plenty of space — traveled around Africa for 2 weeks and had plenty of room for a multitude of clothing (options for warmer and cooler climates) and room to bring home some souvenirs, not heavy at all, comfortable straps
Cons: zippers were hard to open, got stuck often

I researched buying a backpack for about 3 weeks until buying the High Sierra Appalachian 75. It has all the same options and quality of packs 2 and 3 times the price. It has great capacity as well has strong material. Pockets everywhere. The Drop down Sleeping bag compartment is very large even for a not so compact sleeping bag. The waist belts are so large and so padded that the pack weight really sets on your hips like it is supposed to making the pack feel lighter than it is. The reinforced bottom is nice when setting the pack on the ground. In all this is a great pack. I am very satisfied and are getting ready to buy my wife a High Sierra pack also.
